Hello everyone, its been such a long time since I have posted updates on the CDP blog but I sure do have a lot to say to bring you all up to speed. To begin with Angel's Ashes was released on June 2011 on YouTube, where it can be seen on my personal channel (leztuesday), PNT Tv's channel or Here.
In September I decided to go forward with a feature I had in mind that was based on the story behind Angel's Ashes. I gathered and sourced my core team (crew) and developed a treatment for the project. Everyone loved it and given the green-light I forged ahead. By early October I begin to develop the characters and give them their own unique personalities and outline the story. This might not be the traditional way to write a script but that's my method.
By November I begin writing the script (1st draft) in earnest. However after writing 30 pages or so I scraped almost the entire thing and virtually started from scratch. So as November finished I had no script and my people started getting anxious, but I did have an entire website (PNT Tv) to run and not only was I the writer of my budding project but I am also the producer. So I must say as to my plate being overstuffed I pressed onl
Then disaster struck....my Mom died just two weeks before Christmas and I can't tell you how that was but all I can recall is that I felt numb and still do. After the funeral I vowed to place everything else on the back burner and finish the script.
Two days after Christmas Day I thew my hands up in success. I told no one, as the perfectionist in me set about dissecting every piece of the 95 page masterpiece I had created. Then as if the universe hadn't done enough to me as the year 2011 drew to a close. Boom! It happened.... I accidentally erased half of my script.
In a blind panic I went to every computer geek I knew but only manged to recover three quarters of it...so it is will the spirit of NEVER say die that I write this...I am again almost finished and as I go I will reveal the name of the project, "When Ashes Fall".
So stay tuned because this time I intend to place very regular updates, so you can follow the progress that happens, until then bless and Happy New Year to everyone.
